How to talk about someone you really love without sounding unbearably mushy. That is a tricky one. We've been together for 2 and a half years now and friends for 2 years before that. We share a birthday (almost!). We share an apartment. We've been through one scary car accident and a period of frightening health problems. He doesn't want me to talk about him in my weblog and I respect that...he will approve this entry before anyone sees it.

Every now and then I think about that whole "love" thing everyone is always talking about and I think "Ohhhhhh, now I GET it." Like a really hard math problem I can suddenly understand.

I love how he's always singing to himself. I love how he does the dishes and the laundry without me asking. I love how he starts to lisp like a 5 year old when he gets tired. This year, he is the one thing that has exceeded all my expectations.
