I have been working on this weblog for one year now. After an initial burst of enthusiasm I've found that my natural rhythm is to update about once a week. This is probably a bit below average, and maybe too infrequently to maintain any sort of audience. That's okay. I think the real value for me has been this document of the things I thought and the images that meant something to me over the course of one year.

This weblog is sort of an internal map of myself, not really documentation of my days or the events going on outside of me...not really temporal...a little antisocial and a bit cut off from the external realities of the world. I've also found that while the images seem to continue to flow the words have sort of drained away. I'm hoping they will re-emerge and I'll have a lot to say someday soon. Then again, maybe they won't.

What I can say for sure, is this. When I look through my archive I know that keeping this weblog has been my most meaningful attempt at self-expression. I would recommend it to anyone. And thanks to everyone who has visited at one time or another and left a comment or sent me an e-mail. The bits of encouragement I've received here and there have been wonderful and a continual source of motivation.
